A.W. released from WWE: August 10, 2012
The fallout from the Kobe Bryant sexual assault joke made by Abraham Washington (real name Brian Josie) is here. WWE.com is reporting that the company is wishing him “the best in all his future endeavors.”
Nothing more is said in the WWE.com story, but this is obviously related to the comment he made on his live mic on Raw, saying Titus O’Neil was “like Kobe Bryant at a hotel in Colorado … he’s unstoppable.” The announcers immediately apologized.
A.W. is getting real chatty on Twitter. Here are some of his posts since getting future endeavored:

The Wrestling Observer reports that the reaction to A.W.’s firing among the talent has been negative. Will anyone offer public support?
