The Rock wins the WCW World Championship from Booker T at SummerSlam ‘01: August 19, 2001

The WCW Invasion was still alive during SummerSlam, and the Great One had returned to save the WWF from the invading forces. Booker T held the WCW World Championship, and Shane McMahon was determined to make sure the title didn’t change hands. But Booker proved too cocky and his spinaroonie his undoing. The Most Electrifying Man in Entertainment kipped-up, Rock Bottomed the champ and covered him for the win.

Undertaker and Kane unified the tag team titles by beating Kanyon and Diamond Dallas Page inside a steel cage.

Kurt Angle beat “Stone Cold” Steve Austin via disqualification.
