Randy Orton becomes the youngest World Heavyweight Champion, defeating Chris Benoit at SummerSlam ‘04: August 15, 2004
The Age of Orton was cemented with his victory at SummerSlam ‘04 over Chris Benoit. The two put on a fantastic match that won’t get recognized for obvious reasons. Orton polished off the Crippler with an RKO and, at the time, the biggest win in his career.
Also not getting the recognition they deserve, Kurt Angle and Eddie Guerrero for a grueling, back-and-forth match. Latino Heat would eventually fall victim to the ankle lock submission.
