Chris Candido and Sunny: May 1999 Wow Magazine
Candido died way too early at age 33 (his brother, Johnny, wrote that Candido died from a blood clot, a complication of surgery) on April 28, 2005.
At the time this photo was taken, Candido was wrestling for Extreme Championship Wrestling, where he was known as “No Gimmicks Needed” and a member of the Triple Threat with Shane Douglas and Bam Bam Bigelow. He was already a former WWF World Tag Team Champion (as Skip in the Bodydonnas). He’d go on to win the WCW Cruiserweight Championship. Prior to his death, he wrestled for TNA.
Sunny (Tammy Lynn Sytch) has lived a troubled life. She’s reportedly checking out of WWE-sponsored rehab on Thursday.
