The 25 longest WWE Championship reigns of the last 25 years: September 2012
WWE.com really is doing a lot of cool things. This graph is fantastic. I can’t believe Diesel held the title for nearly a year while Stone Cold only topped 175 days. Different eras, I guess.

WWF Intercontinental Champion “the British Bulldog” Davey Boy Smith: August 29, 1992 to October 27, 1992
I forgot how short Davey Boy’s Intercontinental Championship reign actually was — just about two months. The Bulldog would win the championship in a classic match with Bret “Hitman” Hart at SummerSlam and drop it to “the Heartbreak Kid” Shawn Michaels on Saturday Night’s Main Event. He’d never win the belt again.

Dolph Ziggler is pissed at CM Punk, Cody Rhodes explains why he attacked The Miz and more Backstage Fallout from Raw: September 11, 2012

I really love these videos. I wish they were on Raw, and not just a YouTube exclusive. They give so much more of a real sports feel to the action. Group hug?

CM Punk, John Cena and Bret “Hitman” Hart close a tough Raw: September 10, 2012

Kudos to the three of these guys for putting on one of the best closing segments on Raw in recent memory despite the situation with Jerry “the King” Lawler. The guys likely didn’t have an update on King, and they still turned in a fantastic final angle before this weekend’s Night of Champions pay-per-view. Cena wasn’t his jokey self. He was serious. The best he’s been since getting busted open by Brock Lesnar.

Why does he say such hurtful things?

Team WWE defeats the Nexus in a seven-on-seven elimination match at SummerSlam ‘10: August 15, 2010

Former Nexus member Daniel Bryan returned to help Team WWE (John Cena, Bret “Hitman” Hart, Chris Jericho, Edge, R Truth, John Morrison) defeat his former comrades (Wade Barrett, Skip Sheffield, Darren Young, Heath Slater, Justin Gabriel, David Otunga, and Michael Tarver). Faces and heels joined forces (I love when this happens). Cena Supermanned his way to victory, becoming the sole survivor.
