Team Rhodes Scholars defeats Team Hell No in a non-title match on Raw: January 7, 2013
Rhodes and his porn ‘stache hit the Crossroads for the win on Daniel Bryan. Rhodes and Sandow should be in line for a title match since the Prime Time Players are busy jobbing to Brodus Clay and Zack Ryder on Superstars.
Daniel Bryan taps out to a kid battling cancer: December 18, 2012
Daniel Bryan is a good man. I know wrestlers granting wishes isn’t anything new (I’ve actually witnessed John Cena granting wishes for Make-A-Wish kids). But seeing 7-year-old Connor Michalek, who is battling cancer of the brain and spine, putting D-Bry in the No Lock is heartwarming.
The Nature Boy made his return during the Slammy Awards on Raw. John Cena handed over his “Superstar of the Year” award to Naitch. Then CM Punk came out and challenged Flair to a fight. Flair accepted, got beaten down with Punk’s crutch but rallied with a thumb to the eye. Then he locked on the figure four … on Paul Heyman. And then The Shield attacked him … but Daniel Bryan, Kane and Ryback made the save. I absolutely loved this, but it was about a month’s worth of angles crammed into one night. Then again, with Ric Flair, you never know how long you’ll have him around so you better use him while you can.
On another note, I want an hour of TV every week in which Ric Flair tells drinking stories.
The Shield lay out Daniel Bryan and Kane on Raw: December 3, 2012
Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose appeared in the crowd and slowly made their way to ringside during Team Hell No’s match with the Prime Time Players. They proceeded to jump Kane and Bryan following the match. Reminds me a little bit of the early nWo attacks.
Mick Foley’s team at Survivor Series will be …: October 29, 2012
Kofi Kingston, Daniel Bryan, Kane, Randy Orton and Ryback. A little disappointed Foley isn’t going to wrestle, but he’s probably better off at this point in his life not taking bumps. Orton on this team feels weird, just like in this photo. The Apex Predator is about to shake hands with Daniel Bryan?
World Heavyweight Champion Kane defeats The Undertaker inside Hell in a Cell: October 3, 2010
The 2010 version of Hell in a Cell featured yet another battle of the Brothers of Destruction. Paul Bearer turned on The Undertaker one more time, and Kane used the mystical urn and a chokeslam to defeat the Phenom.
