Samoa Joe wins the vacant TNA TV Championship on Impact Wrestling: September 27, 2012
Joe choked out Mr. Anderson to win the TV Championship, vacated by Devon. I still have no idea why TNA didn’t have Devon lose the belt on his way out of the company.

TNA No Surrender card: September 9, 2012
TNA Champion Austin Aries vs. the Aces & Eights member who broke Aries’ arm. I still think Bobby Roode will be revealed as a member of the Aces & Eights.
James Storm vs. Bully Ray in a Bound For Glory Series semifinal match.
Jeff Hardy vs. Samoa Joe in a Bound For Glory Series semifinal match.
The winner of Storm/Ray vs. the winner of Hardy/Joe.
Christopher Daniels and Kazarian defend the TNA Tag Team Championships against AJ Styles and Kurt Angle.
Miss Tessmacher vs. Tara for the TNA Knockouts Title.
Zema Ion vs. Sonjay Dutt for the X Division Title.
Good matches but nothing I’d pay $45 to see. The No Surrender poster is pretty sweet — even if it features Captain America’s shield.

TNA No Surrender is this Sunday: September 9, 2012

I just watched Impact and I can barely remember the card for this Sunday. But TNA does a good job of piecing together inspiring videos.

John Cena retains the WWE Championship against Randy Orton at SummerSlam ‘07: August 26, 2007

The Cena-Orton rivalry still felt fresh in ‘07. Not so much years later.

There was a lot of new blood on the card. CM Punk’s first SummerSlam wasn’t a success. The Straight Edge Superstar lost to ECW Champion John Morrison.

Intercontinental Champion Umaga defeated Carlito and Mr. Kennedy.

There were also some familiar faces. Triple H beat King Booker T. Rey Mysterio won a rematch of the previous year’s SummerSlam with Chavo Guerrero.

Kane defeated Finlay. Beth Phoenix won a Divas battle royal. World Champion the Great Khali lost by disqualification to Batista.

The Bound for Glory Series Leaderboard post-Hardcore Justice: August 12, 2012
RVD is making a run at James Storm. Still not sure why he’s getting a push (he doesn’t need it at this point in his career). TNA would have gotten more out of pushing a dark horse, but that looks out of the question now.

TNA releases video for No Surrender: September 9, 2012

Hardcore Justice isn’t over yet, but TNA is already looking forward to the next pay-per-view: No Surrender — and Bound for Glory.
